Services for Senior Adults

Programs for seniors are focused on improving wellness and properly maintaining medications. River Region provides training for seniors along with their caregivers within homes, senior centers, housing projects, and churches. Community-wide training that addresses the complications associated with medicating seniors and the rising use of alcohol and other drugs is provided at local conferences, civic groups, or workplaces upon request.

We also partner with local hospitals to provide follow-up services to those who have been injured due to hip fractures, falls, or accidents.

River Region provides a variety of education and case management services for senior adults, as well as caregiver support at the Beachwood Community Center located at 11758 Marina Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32246. For information call (904) 899-6300 ext. 4223 or 4224.
