Karen Garrett - Director of Quality Improvement and Training
Ms. Garrett has been in the behavioral health field for over 20 years. Her experience includes both direct clinical and administrative functions in Methadone, Outpatient, Day/Night, Residential and Corrections services. She has extensive training experience in both clinical and administrative arenas. She has been a trainer for Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association since 1996 training on topics from Advanced Group Facilitation Skills to ASAM PPC-2R, etc.
She has designed and conducted training for AT&T, City of Jacksonville, Maxwell House, Johnson & Johnson, etc. Topics include, but are not limited to: Management Skills, Stress Management, Team Building, Presentation Skills, etc. A Certified Addictions Professional, she received her Masters Degree from West Virginia University. She is a certified trainer through Ned Herman as well as a professor at Nova Southeastern University.
